解雇規制をツイッターにたとえると、「いったんフォローした人は、リムーブできません」となる。

いったんフォローするとリムーブできないのなら、誰をフォローするのか、ものすごく慎重に選ぶことになる。これでは、フォローされる人の総数は少なくなってしまう。

反対に、いつでも自由にリムーブできるなら、気軽にフォローできる。この場合は、フォローされる人の総数も大きくなる。

雇用をツイッターにたとえて、採用を「フォロー」、解雇を「リムーブ」と考えれば、なぜ解雇規制が雇用を減らしてしまうのか、かんたんに理解できる。
